Account Registration
Eligibility and Restrictions
- Age and legal capacity: You may only open an Account and use the Services if you are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to gamble under the laws of your place of residence. We will block and close any Account where we have reason to believe you are under 18. Winnings may be void and deposits returned in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- UK-focused use: These Terms apply to Players located in the United Kingdom using sparcleslots.com. You must not use the Website if you are located in a jurisdiction where online gambling is illegal or where we do not accept players, including (without limitation) the United States of America, France and Australia or any other restricted country listed on the Website from time to time.
- Self-exclusion and vulnerability: If you are registered with GamStop, or have self-excluded with ProgressPlay or any ProgressPlay-powered brand, you must not attempt to open or use an Account. Because Sparkle Slots operates as a white-label brand on the ProgressPlay platform, self-exclusion generally applies across sister sites as well.
Registration Process and Verification (KYC and SOW)
- Account creation: To register, you must complete the online registration form, providing accurate and complete information including your name, date of birth, address, email address and any other details requested. You must confirm your acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
- Contact verification: We may verify your email address and/or mobile number through a verification link or code. Access to deposits, bonuses and certain games may be restricted until verification is completed.
- Identity and address checks (KYC): To comply with UK anti-money laundering ("AML") and responsible gambling regulations, we will carry out identity and age checks using third-party databases. We may require you to provide documentation such as a copy of your passport or ID card, proof of address, and verification of your payment methods before allowing deposits, gameplay or withdrawals.
- Source of Wealth and Source of Funds (SOW/SOF): In line with increased UKGC scrutiny on white-label operators and the regulatory risk outlook for 2025, we may request evidence of the source of your funds and wealth (for example, payslips, bank statements, proof of savings or business income). Such checks may be triggered earlier and more frequently, including around or below cumulative deposit thresholds of approximately £2,000, or sooner where our risk-based policies require it.
- Suspension for incomplete checks: If you do not provide requested KYC or SOW documentation, or if we cannot satisfactorily complete our checks, we may suspend or close your Account and withhold withdrawals, in accordance with our regulatory obligations and AML policies.
- Historical regulatory actions: ProgressPlay has previously entered into a regulatory settlement with the UK Gambling Commission (May 2022) relating to social responsibility and AML deficiencies. As part of our ongoing compliance improvements, you should expect more robust verification, monitoring and affordability checks as of 2025.
Account Security and Player Responsibilities
- Login credentials: You are responsible for keeping your username, password and any other security credentials confidential. You must not share your Account with any third party or allow anyone else to use your Account.
- Accuracy of information: You must keep your registration details accurate and up to date at all times. You must promptly notify us of any changes, for example to your name, address, email address or payment details.
- One account policy: You may hold only one Account with ProgressPlay for the Sparkle Slots service. We reserve the right to close duplicate Accounts and to void bonuses or winnings linked to multiple Account abuse.
- Unauthorised access: If you suspect that your Account has been compromised or accessed without your permission, you must notify us immediately at [email protected]. We will take reasonable steps to secure the Account, but we are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use prior to such notification, where you have failed to keep your credentials secure.
Self-Exclusion and Time-Out
- Operator self-exclusion: You may request self-exclusion from Sparkle Slots (and generally from other ProgressPlay-powered brands) for a defined period. During self-exclusion you must not attempt to access the Website, and we will take reasonable steps to prevent gambling activity.
- GamStop registration: For a broader exclusion across most UK online gambling operators, you can register with GamStop at www.gamstop.co.uk. As a UKGC-licensed operator, we are required to integrate with GamStop; if you are registered with GamStop you must not seek to bypass your exclusion by opening new Accounts.
- Additional tools: You may use other safer gambling tools such as deposit limits, loss limits, reality checks and time-outs available through the Website and on our Responsible Gaming page at https://sparcleslots.com/responsible-gaming.
Betting & Gameplay Rules
Placing Bets and Game Operation
- Game rules: Each game available on the Website is governed by its specific rules and pay-tables, which form part of these Terms. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the rules before placing any Bet.
- Bet placement: A Bet is deemed placed and accepted once it appears in our systems and is recorded on our servers. Once accepted, Bets generally cannot be cancelled or amended by you.
- Minimum and maximum stakes: Each game has minimum and maximum stake limits. You may not place Bets outside these limits. In some cases, maximum stake limits may also apply under promotional or bonus terms.
- Random number generation: The outcome of many games is determined by a certified random number generator ("RNG"). The RNG operates independently of your device and ensures fairness and randomness, subject to regular testing by approved laboratories.
- Result determination: The official outcome of each game round is the result recorded on our servers. In the event of any discrepancy between your device display and our server records, the server records will prevail.
Cancellation, Errors and Malfunctions
- Obvious errors: We reserve the right to void or adjust Bets and associated winnings in the case of obvious or manifest errors, including but not limited to incorrect odds, game malfunctions, or mis-configurations that materially affect game outcome.
- Technical failures: If a game is interrupted due to a technical failure (for example, network outage, system crash or loss of connection), the outcome of any completed game round will stand, and any unfinished rounds may be restored or voided in accordance with the game rules and our regulatory obligations.
- Void bets: Where a Bet is declared void, the original stake for that Bet will be returned to your Real Money Balance. Bonus stakes may be restored as bonus funds where appropriate.
Conduct, Collusion and Fair Use
- Fair play: You must not engage in any activity that seeks to exploit software bugs, predictable RNG sequences, or other vulnerabilities. Collusion, use of bots or automated tools, advantage play that breaches game rules, or any fraudulent behaviour is strictly prohibited.
- Live casino and chat: Where live casino games and chat facilities are provided, you must behave respectfully towards dealers, staff and other Players. Abusive, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise offensive language or behaviour is not tolerated and may result in suspension or closure of your Account.
- Multiple accounts and syndicates: Using multiple Accounts, identity fraud or participation in wagering syndicates designed to manipulate game outcomes or promotions is prohibited. We may void Bets and confiscate funds where we reasonably suspect such activity.
Responsible Gambling
- Entertainment purpose: The Services are intended for entertainment only. You should never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose or in order to recover previous losses.
- Safer gambling tools: You are encouraged to use the safer gambling tools available on the Website, including deposit limits, loss limits and session reminders. Details are set out at https://sparcleslots.com/responsible-gaming.
- Support organisations: If you believe you may have a gambling problem, you should seek help from independent organisations such as BeGambleAware (https://www.begambleaware.org) and consider registering with GamStop.
Bonus Terms
General Bonus Conditions
- Promotional terms: From time to time we may offer Bonuses, free spins or other promotions. Each promotion is subject to specific terms and conditions ("Promotional Terms") displayed with the offer on the Website. The Promotional Terms form part of these Terms, and in the event of any conflict, the Promotional Terms will prevail for that promotion.
- Eligibility: Bonuses may be restricted by country, device, payment method, or Player status (for example, new customers only). We may withhold or remove Bonuses where we reasonably believe that you do not meet the eligibility criteria.
- Non-transferability: Bonuses are personal to you, have no cash value outside the Website and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged.
Activation, Wagering and Time Limits
- Bonus activation: Certain Bonuses require an opt-in, minimum deposit, or the entry of a bonus code. Details are provided in the Promotional Terms. If activation steps are not completed correctly, the Bonus may not be credited.
- Wagering requirements: Many Bonuses are subject to wagering requirements. You must bet the required multiple of the Bonus amount, deposit amount, or both, before associated funds become withdrawable. Different games may contribute different percentages towards wagering, as set out in the Promotional Terms.
- Timeframes: Bonuses often have an expiry period (for example, a number of days from issue or activation) within which wagering requirements must be met. After expiry, any unused Bonus and associated winnings may be removed from your Account. Please check the Promotional Terms for specific time limits applicable in 2025.
- Game restrictions: Certain games or game categories may be excluded from Bonus play or may contribute a reduced percentage towards wagering. Using a Bonus on excluded games may result in the Bonus and related winnings being forfeited.
Prohibited Actions and Bonus Abuse
- Irregular play: We may treat the following as irregular play or bonus abuse: placing equal, zero or low-margin bets to clear wagering; colluding with other players; using multiple Accounts; or attempting to guarantee profits regardless of outcome.
- Maximum bet limits: Promotional Terms may specify a maximum bet per spin or game round while an active Bonus is being wagered. Placing Bets above such limits may be considered abuse and could lead to forfeiture of the Bonus and associated winnings.
- Combined offers: Unless expressly permitted, you may not combine multiple welcome offers or key promotions in a way that circumvents promotional intent. We reserve the right to withdraw promotions or adjust balances where we identify misuse.
Bonus Winnings and Withdrawal
- Conversion to real funds: Once wagering requirements are met and other conditions complied with, eligible Bonus funds and winnings may be converted to Real Money Balance, subject to any maximum conversion caps stated in the Promotional Terms.
- Withdrawal restrictions: We may restrict withdrawals of Bonus funds and associated winnings until all requirements are fulfilled. If you request a withdrawal before completing wagering, the Bonus and associated winnings may be cancelled, and only your Real Money Balance may be withdrawn.
- Operator's discretion: We may withhold or remove Bonuses and winnings, and, where appropriate, suspend or close Accounts where we reasonably suspect bonus abuse, fraud or other breaches of these Terms or the Promotional Terms.
Payments & Withdrawals
Deposit Methods and Limits
- Permitted payment methods: For UK players, deposits may generally be made using approved debit cards and selected e-wallets or payment services. Credit card payments (including via e-wallets or payment intermediaries) are not permitted under UK regulation. The available methods are listed in the cashier section of the Website.
- Pay via Phone: The Website may offer Pay via Phone or similar mobile billing options. These services are subject to additional terms and a service fee which is displayed at the point of deposit. Deposits via Pay via Phone may have specific limits and may not always be available for withdrawals.
- Cryptocurrencies: While cryptocurrencies are generally referenced in online payments, ProgressPlay does not currently accept cryptocurrency payments from UK players under its UKGC licence. Any changes to this position will be clearly communicated on the Website and subject to regulatory approval.
- Deposit limits: You may set your own deposit limits using the safer gambling tools on the Website. We may also apply internal limits or request additional information where deposits reach certain thresholds as part of our AML and affordability checks.
Withdrawals, Processing Times and Verification
- Withdrawal methods: Withdrawals will generally be processed to the same payment method used for deposits, where possible. We may require you to choose from alternative methods where a particular method does not support withdrawals or where regulatory requirements dictate.
- Verification prior to payout: We may require additional identity, address, payment method and SOW documentation before processing withdrawals, in line with KYC and AML obligations described above. Failure to provide such documentation may lead to cancellation or delay of withdrawals.
- Processing times: We will endeavour to process withdrawal requests within a reasonable time frame, subject to any mandatory pending period specified on the Website, our internal checks and bank or payment provider processing times. Overall withdrawal time may vary depending on method and your successful completion of any required checks.
- Fees: We may apply reasonable processing fees for withdrawals or for certain payment methods, including Pay via Phone deposits, as disclosed in the cashier or on the Withdrawal Policy page at https://sparcleslots.com/withdrawal-policy. Any applicable fees will be communicated before you confirm a transaction.
Account Balances, Segregation and Refunds
- Funds segregation: Player funds are held in accounts separate from ProgressPlay's operational funds and are managed in accordance with the UKGC's "medium" protection category. This means that, in the event of insolvency, your funds are kept separate but are not guaranteed. Further details are available on the UKGC website in relation to licence 39335.
- Balance accuracy: You are responsible for checking that your Account balance and transaction history are correct. In case of any discrepancy, you should contact customer support without delay. If we identify an error in your balance, we may correct it and, where appropriate, recover amounts paid in error or credit amounts underpaid.
- Refunds and chargebacks: Deposits are generally non-refundable once used for gambling. We may, at our discretion and subject to regulatory constraints, consider refund requests where no gambling has taken place. If you dispute or charge back a payment, we may suspend or close your Account and recover associated costs, and any winnings may be voided pending investigation.
- Void bets and malfunction: Stakes on void or cancelled Bets will be returned to your Real Money Balance. Where wagers are placed using Bonus funds and the underlying game round is voided, the stake may be restored as bonus funds in accordance with bonus rules.
Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Risk Controls
- Monitoring: Transactions may be monitored and reviewed as part of our AML and counter-terrorist financing obligations. This may include analysis of deposit and withdrawal patterns, gameplay behaviour and other data.
- Reporting obligations: Where we suspect that transactions may be linked to money laundering, terrorist financing or other criminal activity, we may report such activity to relevant authorities. We are generally prohibited from informing you if such a report has been made.
- Restrictions and holds: We may, at our discretion and where required by regulation, refuse deposits, withhold withdrawals, freeze funds or suspend Accounts pending completion of AML, affordability or SOW investigations.
Limitation of Liability
Operator's Obligations
- Reasonable care and skill: We will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with our regulatory obligations. We will use reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and integrity of the Website but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
- Game fairness: We are responsible for ensuring that games operate fairly and that RNGs are appropriately tested and certified. In the event of a confirmed malfunction, we will act in accordance with applicable regulations and game rules, which may include voiding affected Bets and returning stakes.
- Information accuracy: We take reasonable steps to ensure that information displayed on the Website (including game rules, odds and promotional details) is accurate. However, obvious and manifest errors may be corrected as described in these Terms.

- Non-excludable liability: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
